Day 14: Fairy Falls, Midway Geyser Basin and Fountain Paint Pots

Grand Prismatic Spring  (will be discussed below)....but first,

It was a beautiful day today and our highlight was hiking to Fairy Falls. The drive was filled with river scenes and mountainside geysers. The road was windy.

The above is a reflection of Rick and I in the stone bed of the river taken from the bridge above. WHOA!!!! So creative, we know!  ❤️❤️

But although the Falls are beautiful, on the trail to them there was a viewing point for the nearby Grand Prismatic Spring. It was surreal!

Then we continued to the Falls.

After our hike, we went to explore the Grand Prismatic Spring close-up. The pictures don't even do it justice!

Finally we went to the Fountain Paint Pots, which were mud-like bubbly things. Weird!

To top off our day, we had another Bison sighting!  xo, Jeanne, Rick and Mr. Bison
